LMaO 1.5 c

This is just a general bug fix patch mostly. This should fix several crashes and help with some stability. I also tweaked several attack actions, added additional books and updated Dorzakk's inventory. This should help add some more combat variety. The combat system is still very much in development, many action don't have complete dialogue and balance will still need some work. If things are too easy or difficult please let me know.

[EDIT] Small patch to fix a bug that caused monster buffs to carry over between fights. This made enemies become exponentially stronger until they were almost unbeatable.

New update come out sooner than I expected! Have a few question I want to ask:

Firstly, did you get rid of rollback feature/glitch? In previous version if you click outside of textbox during dialoge, sometimes it takes you back to  earliar lines. That was quite confusing for me. I'm glad it's gone now.

Secondly, when I ask Squeeb about Fenna when I first arrived at Last Drop, Squeeb's answer sounds like Fenna has gone to someplace else. I think this might be a oversight?

Some other minor things I noticed:

Morty said keys for the rooms are 15 each, while they are worth 18 coins each.

Fenna didn't mention how many nails she needs for the roof when asked for the first time. New player need to ask again to know she needs 5.

I did deleted my save and started a new charactor. Picked the traits/past I prefer, didn't touch other options. For Squeeb and Dorzakk everything was fine, only the option match my traits showed up. But I can still use romantic option for Crawler and Occultist option for Lucia.

And for combat......Man that's tough.

In previous version the only enemy I would consider overpowered was the werewolf. Though they're intended to be high-level enemy I assume. The only issue I had was the chances for escape. It usually take me 2-3 turns to escape from an enemy. Exploring forest to find goblin outpost was kinda frustrating. Run into a werewolf, try to escape, failed, try again, failed, die. At least werewolf only appears in forest.

Now the new goblins. They just two-shotted me without even using flex buff. and I got constantly smacked down by them, even with Squeeb's Knife. Sure I'm only level one and not fully optimized for combat(Kobold born under chalice, not the best not the worst). Still I think they're too powerful for (supposedly)weakest enemy in the game.

Combining low escape chance with goblins on steroids? I just want to pick some flower to buy skill books, and anytime a random goblin showed up, I die. Feels bad.

Nerf goblin pls. Or perhaps buff escape?

Needing to ask Fenna twice is intentional. Basically trying to tutorial/bait people into talking to NPCs multiple times because they might get extra/different information. It's not a huge thing now but going forward I'd like to have alternate dialogue more frequently.

Key dialogue is a mix up because I wasn't counting the price mark up. I'll get that sorted in the future.

I'll look into toning the goblins down in the future. They definitely shouldn't be 2 shotting you though. I'll see if I overlooked something when stating them.

I think it's gone now. Never had rollback even once in this version.

I do feel like Fenna is the type that talks so less you need to ask many times for her to tell you what she wants, and let player manully choose to ask her twice is actually a brillant idea! Very interesting.

Noticed the new bug fix...Now I remembered. I encountered a random goblin, he flexed 3 times before I got away. The next goblin showed up hit me with 64dmg, then 75dmg, two-shotted me. I'm grateful for this fix, truly. XD

I hope it works. If you notice any weird spikey damage continuing let me know. It may take a fight to update everything correctly if you import a save.

Did a little test. Now with base equipment, goblin deals 15-18 damage to me with no flex, 22-35 with one flex, 31-38 with two flexes. And I did let one goblin flexes a few times then escaped. Next goblin showed up didn' t have the buff on him. I think the problem is gone now.

I didn't realize that was a bug but I guess it's fixed?
The Fenna Squeeb thing was an oversight. I had it set up for when Fenna is helping Lyra but set the wrong variable. That'll be fixed in the next build
